Who Should Write a Letter?
Our canine companions need EVERY responsible dog owner to write a letter to the representatives and officials opposing any and all breed specific ordinances.  Even if you don’t live in Hawaii or aren’t here permanently, write a letter. It may be your city or county next! I never thought it would happen here in Hawaii and time soon since we have soooo many of these dogs in the islands, and yet, here we are. You never know where BSL will hit next.
Even if the breed you own is not on the list, please write a letter! Why? Because if BSL passes what’s to stop officials from adding more breeds to the list. And yours breed may be the next! Imagine if BSL passed and one bite or attack happened involving a dog of your breed. You can bet they’ll simply add your breed to the list too and your innocent dog will pay the price. Don’t let it get to that point! Help stop put a stop to all breed specific legislation by writing to our State Officials.

I am against the bill of the pitbulls, they are loving and friendly. My 8 year old daughter loves pitbull, they love her to, they listen to her very well. They are like kids to us, We could not imagine my daughter and our life with out them. Please Stop the bill.
YOU CANNOT JUDGE EVERY PITBULL EQUALLY. I HAVE ALL KINDS OF BREEDS THE PITBULL HAS BEEN THE BEST DOG I HAVE EVER HAD. IF YOU HAVE NEVER HAD A PITBULL YOU SHOULD NOT BE JUDGING THEM IF YOU HAD ONE YOU WOULD LOVE THEM JUST AS I DO TRY ONE YOU MIGHT JUST LOVE ONE. I COULD NOT IMAGINE LIFE WITH OUT MY PITTIES SHAME ON YOU WE SHOULD OUT LAW THE PEOPLE TRYING TO GET RID OF PITBULLS. MY BEST FRIEND AND MY ANGEL IS A BEAUTIFUL GIRL NAMED COCO WHO WAS ABUSED AND I RESCUED HER AND SHE IS GRATEFUL FOR IT SHE CURLS UP IN MY LAP AND GOES TO SLEEP SHE SLEEPS IN MY BED SHE RIDES IN THE CAR SHE LICKS ME ALL OVER SHE PROTECTS ME SHE WALKS WITH ME SHE MAKES ME SO HAPPY SHE IS BETTER THEN MOST PEOPLE I NO. I AM SO ANGRY OVER THIS BSL. DO YOU GET RID OF A CERTAIN RACE BECAUSE THERE IS SEVERAL BAD ONES IN THE BUNCH YOU CANT BAN PEOPLE I WISH YOU COULD.
I have grown up with pitbulls all my life. My friends and familys pitbulls are very friendy and loving. They never hurt anything. Don’t comit my dogs to death, they are family to me. Kill the dogs that bite people or pets not all pitbulls. Where will you draw the line. If you’ve never owned a pitbull how can you be judge, jury and executioner.
You are choosing to base your claim on a few individuals who may have done some wrong but what about the thousands if not ten’s of thousands who have been good citizens and dog owners.Why should they pay the price for a few a bad apples? Please look at other countries who have tried tried or pass this law to see where they are at now.
